North Cube: Puzzle Cube

Using the cubes from the Applied Statistics project we had to create a puzzle cubes. We began sketching 3,4,5,and 6 combinations using blocks.
we had to follow as certain engineering process like Define Problem, Brainstorm, Select an Approach and so on. after that we start to put together the combinations of 3,4,5 and 6 in order to Make a Model or Prototype,  then we Communicate Processes and Results. after having a good idea of what combinations we were going to use and how we were going to build our cube we began coloring the colors that corresponded and then glued everything the way it suppose to be. Then we record all our process and steps in the engineering notebook and answer the conclusion questions. This is how my final product looked like:

Applied Statistics

In this project or assigment we used a dial caliber in order to measure the width of each little square we used. we found the mode, median, range and labled all of the cubes 1 through 27.
Thse cubes we used later on to creat our project the puzzle cube.

Multiview Sketching

These are just one of the few pages we did for multiview sketching, we had to create all of these different angled drawings with these simple geometric solids.

Oblique Sketch

While learning about oblique sketching. we also learned about how there are two types of oblique pictorials. one is called cavalier and the other one is called cabinet. We then drew various types of oblique geometric solids and shaded them dark or light depending in the position. Last we answer three conclusion questions.

Perspective Sketches

While learning about perspective view, which is a three-dimensional view of all pictorial method, when drawing it it has certain steps. We sketch one-point, two-point, and three-point perspective of simple geometric solids. Then create constructions line and make all of the points touch the horizon line. After creating our shape we shade the light and dark sides. To conclude we answer all the conclusion question.

Isometric Sketch

Before being able to do any of these sketches, we had to learn about Isometric sketching, we were given a page with drawings of geometric solids, we had to draw and shade in a grid piece of paper. We had to make sure to get the right measurements as well, and these were the results.

History of Measurment

In this project called "History of Measurement" I worked with Kaitlyn Nogueira and Belinda Shahid. We worked as a team in order to find out answer to certain questions like, "According to archeologists records, which civilizations were the first to record measurements?" or also "For what reasons did the French academy of science create the metric system?" Not only did we do a power point for these questions but we also worked on a CD cover in where we tried to involve measurement and tried to make it as create as possible.
